Staff

Cyrca’s staff have a broad range of experience in U.S. and international transplant program medical management, claim administration, underwriting, marketing, premium and claim reporting, and case management. The staff of Cyrca have worked as a team serving businesses in management of catastrophic care since 1994. The following are brief biographical summaries of the key Cyrca team members.

Mark M. Johnson – President and CEO
Mr. Johnson has played a principal role in the development of specialized cost containment programs for both Medicaid and commercial accounts. He is responsible for contract oversight, daily account management, and all technological areas of the business for each client as needed. Mr. Johnson has more than 15 years experience in the industry and has focused most of his career on health insurance underwriting and program management.

Ronda L. Wells, MD – Medical Director
Dr. Wells reviews cases for which there are appeals of denial, and any complex case requiring additional medical review for the program. Dr. Wells has reviewed well over 9,000 cases for medical necessity and/or coverage determinations during her career for several major insurance companies. She is a key source of information in the quickly evolving field of cutting edge medicine and is invaluable in supporting program development initiatives. Dr. Wells also assists in setting reserves and in determining potential on going managed care needs for current clients as needed.

Suzann Fischman – Vice President of Claims
Ms. Fischman is responsible for claim review, adjudication for reinsurance reimbursement and claim bordereau preparation. She is also the lead claim director on all programs. She maintains in depth working knowledge of each client’s needs leading to quality output. She has over 14 years of experience in claims processing and auditing. She also assists in development and implementation of policies and procedures for current programs.

Bryan D. Wade – Cheif Financial Officer
Mr. Wade’s experience includes all facets of accounting and statutory insurance filings. He is primarily responsible for all accounting and finance functions for the company, including budget variance and ad hoc reporting. Mr. Wade has over nine years experience in healthcare finance, with four of them in a management role.

Lisa Hee – Program Manager
Ms. Hee's experience includes quality assurance and business systems analysis for health insurance organizations. Her primary responsibilities for Cyrca include administration and operational oversight of the State of Hawaii AFDC Medical Evaluation program. Duties include implementation of procedures and workflows for the program, management of data entry staff, and acting as a liaison between the Board, Cyrca, and the State of Hawaii.

In addition to key personnel, Cyrca’s support staff is experienced and provides a professional approach focused on continuous quality client service.
